Brandon fields
LEad pastor and Elder
Brandon Fields is the new Senior Pastor of JABC. He has served as the Discipleship Pastor at Jefferson Avenue since August of 2012. Brandon attended Southwest Baptist University and graduated in 2005 with degrees in Psychology and Religious Studies. He then attended Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City where he earned his Master's of Divinity in 2010. Brandon is married to Alyse, whom he met and fell in love with while attending JABC as a child. Brandon and Alyse have known each other since 5th grade when his father, Pastor Craig Fields, became the Senior Pastor here at JABC. Alyse works as a part-time dietician for Cox Hospital. They have four daughters, Caroline, Reese, Noelle, and Gwen. Brandon has a passion for changed lives, and he believes that there is no greater life-changing force than the power of the Holy Spirit and the truth He imparts through God's Word as it reveals the love of God expressed through the gift of His one and only Son, Jesus.

Carla Sturdivan
office manager
Carla Sturdivan came on as our Office Manager in November 2016. She and her husband, Bill moved to Springfield from Perryton TX, where she had served many years as an Office Assistant at First Baptist Church. Carla and Bill have three grown children, Jenifer who lives in Springfield, Joe who is married to Elisha and lives in Morris OK, and Megan who is married to Lawrence Chatman and lives in Roby MO. They have five grandchildren: Clayton, Savannah, Will, Jaxon and Esther. Carla feels strongly about connecting with those who come through our doors and making sure they are welcomed as they join in our services.
